Events
Independence Day
The 15th of August fills our campus with an energy that is truly special. Every year, we celebrate Independence Day with flag hoisting, cultural programmes, and a deep sense of national pride. Our children march, perform, and speak — understanding that freedom is not just a historical achievement but a living responsibility. It is one of our most cherished annual celebrations, reminding our entire community that the best way to honour our freedom fighters is to build a just and educated society.
Republic Day
On the 26th of January, we gather with pride and gratitude to honour the spirit of our Constitution. Our Republic Day celebration brings together students, teachers, volunteers, and community members under one flag — quite literally. With flag hoisting, patriotic performances, and heartfelt speeches, we remind our children what it means to be a citizen of this great nation, and why the values of justice, equality, and fraternity must be carried forward by every generation.
Saraswati Puja
Every year on the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja, Banurdih Matara Sangha transforms into a celebration of knowledge, art, and young dreams. Our students and teachers come together to worship the Goddess of Learning with joy, devotion, and colour. For our children, this day carries a special meaning — it is a reminder that the pursuit of knowledge is sacred, and that every child seated in our classrooms is on a blessed journey.
Rabindra Jayanti
On the birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, we celebrate not just a poet — but a vision of humanity. Every year on 25th Baisakh, our students and community members come alive through recitations, songs, dance, and cultural performances inspired by Tagore’s timeless works. It is an evening of warmth, art, and reflection — a tribute to the man who taught us that education must liberate, and love must lead.
